This week, we’re honored to have Brad Hanson join us for our monthly deep dive into the music. Listeners may not know that Brad’s daughter, Leah, is the vocalist of Columbus rock band The Villaintinos.
Brad worked on-air at various radio stations in Ohio, getting his start at WFAL (Bowling Green State University) while in college. He was the Music Director and midday jock at WRQN (Toledo), before getting a call from Kid Leo at WMMS in Cleveland to be the Music Director at “The Buzzard” in the late 1980’s.
He fondly recalls the days of spinning vinyl albums, meeting a plethora of famous musicians, and losing his hearing at loud rock concerts. You’ll hear what artists Brad thinks are underrated and why that may have happened.
It’s a fast-paced hour of great talk and even better music!
