Grab your toque and get ready to take off to the Great White North…
Well, we’re not going that far north, but we are crossing the border to talk with Canadian Indie rocker Andrew Rodger and Stop Yelling in Braeside, Ontario (just west from Ottawa, the capital city of Canada).
Andrew used the pandemic-induced quarantine to his advantage, releasing three full-length albums in 2021, one of which is a children’s album. His most recent release, Free Range Muffins (released in July), channels Gordon Lightfoot with a hint of Neil Diamond, melding wonderful storytelling with music that fits the stories perfectly.
*Full disclosure: Rick has known and been friends with Andrew for over a decade, having bonded over a mutual love of music and hockey.
