This week, musician/producer Derek Christopher joins us with new music and his take on the shortcomings of ComFest.
A member of Wandering Stars and Joy Thieves, he also produces local P.O.C. artists in his home studio. We talk about how a banjo riff got stuck in his head, and relates what it’s like to collaborate with Chris Connelly, Dan Milligan and the other members of Joy Thieves.
He is vocal with his opinion of why ComFest needs to change, never afraid to tell it like it is. He also talks about a new record label he’s forming with local artists that will benefit from it.
