Although we believe that every month is Pride month, we celebrate Pride Month 2023 with the help of the All Trans Post-Hardcore band FOXCULT.
The band hails from Seattle, located in the Pacific Northwest, but three of the members joined us from all across North America, including Seattle, Toronto (Canada) and Boston. Ashley, Audrey and Riley were kind enough to take the time to join us just prior to jumping into the recording studio to lay down some tracks from their new album.
We talk about their origins, travel across the county, and using social media to their advantage. As longtime listeners know well, we don’t like labels, but we’d be lying if we said we were not excited about having an All- Trans Post-Hardcore band on the show. The icing on the cake is their music is fantastic!
You’ll hear music from FOXCULT, as well as songs from a couple of bands that have affected members of the band in some special way.
This week, Bill and Rick want to remind everyone that every month is Pride Month. To help them celebrate the occasion, they welcome to the show special guest Christa Harmon, the first transgender gaffer at the Pilchuck Glass School, located one hour north of Seattle, Washington. Christa tells the story…
This week, the show shreds with Post-Hardcore aural goodness when Columbus band A Decade Apart join us in the studio. Josh, Sean, Donnie and Travis invade our space to premiere new tracks from their as-yet unreleased EP Premonitions Part 1 (due to be released on October 19). There is much laughter, especially…
This week, Columbus' ferocious punk band Angry Cougars stop by the studio with an EXCLUSIVE first-listen of a few of their new songs from their upcoming release of Angry Cougars II. Betty, Two-Cans, H-Bomb, Punky and the notorious Thunderhead make their return to the show, having last been on the…
